What moves you in your practice?
The way we move reflects the way we feel. Movement expression reveals our preferences, our aversions, our points of confidence and our points of insecurity.
Healthy movement starts with genuine interest and spontaneity. Many times we choose exercises we think we should be doing. In this workshop we explore movement through instinct and follow our impulses. Julie’s motto has always been: if you don’t love it, it can’t be therapeutic.
We focus on the lower body and core connection to support the organs of the pelvis.
For whom?
Beginners can gain confidence in new movements and learn to find expression through simple sequences.
Experienced students can benefit from revisiting their practice through feeling and the joy of movement, as opposed to a regimented practice.
This makes an excellent postnatal class (whether you gave birth recently or several years ago).
Teacher training students can follow this workshop toward a certificate.
